Ingredients:
- 1 cup Wyman’s Frozen Wild Blueberries
- 3 1/2 tbsp honey
- 3 ½ tbsp water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp cold water
- 1 cup whipped butter, room temperature
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the blueberries, honey, and water. Simmer on low.
- When the sauce starts to thicken, add the cornstarch/water mixture while whisking continuously.
- Once the sauce thickens, immediately remove from the heat and allow it to cool.
- Add the whipped butter into a chilled metal bowl. Slow fold in 1/3 cup of the cooled blueberry sauce.
- Once combined spread the butter into a small, parchment lined, airtight container.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before using. Blueberry butter is great spread on toast, rolls, muffins, pancakes, or waffles!
