Cook Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

For the Wild Blueberry Simple Syrup

For the Cocktail

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 3 ounces tonic water
  • 1 ounce wild blueberry simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon frozen Wyman’s Wild Blueberries
  • 1 lime wedge
  • ice

Directions:

  1. To make the simple syrup, in a small saucepan bring the blueberries, water and sugar to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally and breaking up the blueberries with the back of a spoon, until vibrant in color. Strain out the blueberries using a mesh strainer and discard. Use right away or cool completely and refrigerate until ready to use. (makes enough for 4 cocktails)
  2. To make the wild blueberry gin and tonic, fill a highball glass with ice. Pour the gin, tonic water, and blueberry simple syrup over the ice. Gently stir to combine. Garnish with wild blueberries and a lime wedge.
