Mango Berry Galette

Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups frozen Wyman’s Mango Berry, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 whole wheat pie crust, store-bought or homemade, softened according to package
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together fruit, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
  3. If using homemade dough, roll into a 1/8-inch-thick circle and transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Add the fruit filling to the center of the pie crust, leaving a 2-inch border around the edges. Fold the dough over the filling, overlapping the dough as needed.
  4. Whisk together egg and water and brush over the crust.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
