- 3 cups frozen Wyman’s Mango Berry, thawed and drained
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 whole wheat pie crust, store-bought or homemade, softened according to package
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together fruit, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
- If using homemade dough, roll into a 1/8-inch-thick circle and transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Add the fruit filling to the center of the pie crust, leaving a 2-inch border around the edges. Fold the dough over the filling, overlapping the dough as needed.
- Whisk together egg and water and brush over the crust.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
