This recipe can stand alone without the ground flax and/or collagen powder. But for a healthy twist, ground flaxseed is rich in fiber and high in healthy fats known as Omega 3’s. Flax can help to stabilize blood sugar and lower cholesterol levels. Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body. As you age, collagen production declines.
