AUGUSTA — This year’s virtual Trek Across Maine raised $360,500, according to the American Lung Association.
The funds are to be used to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education and advocacy. A portion will also be used for COVID-19 research.
This year, more than 600 cyclists from California to Maine registered for the 37th annual event that was held virtually for the second year in a row because of COVID-19 safety precautions.
